Bringing Absolute Collagen to Life Through CGI – Creative Social Content

When the UK’s leading collagen supplement brand approached us, they needed something extraordinary – a social media campaign that would not only showcase their product but also visually capture its transformative power.

After several discussions, we pitched the bold idea of using an iconic British landmark: the Angel of the North. And let’s be honest – when it comes to symbolic female figures in the UK, there’s nothing quite like the Angel.

The Creative Challenge

The client came to us with one request: create a CGI-driven piece of content that would stand out on social media.

We took that request and ran with it, pitching the Angel of the North as the perfect metaphor for transformation. The rusty exterior of the sculpture provided the ideal canvas to demonstrate the rejuvenating effects of the collagen supplement.

 

Execution and Solution

The concept was clear: bring the Angel of the North to life. We filmed on location with actors, capturing real-time footage around the iconic sculpture. But the real magic happened in post-production.

Using state-of-the-art CGI and animation, we transformed the weathered, rusty angel into a radiant, gleaming figure.

The angel interacts with the brand’s collagen sachet, and as she consumes it, her form begins to sparkle and glow, symbolising the strength, renewal, and vitality the product brings to its users.

Our team combined live-action filming with advanced CGI to deliver:

Real-Time Filming with Actors: We shot on location at the Angel of the North, using actors to set the scene and create a dynamic interaction with the landmark.

High-Quality CGI & Animation: Through the magic of post-production, we transformed the rusty Angel into a polished, glowing sculpture – a striking visual representation of the collagen supplement’s benefits.

Seamless Social Media Integration: The final video was optimised for both 1:1 and 9:16 formats, ensuring maximum visibility and engagement across social platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
