“Catch Cocktails, Not Feelings” – Disruptive Experiential Activation
At Hussel Marketing, we’re always up for a challenge, but when Revolución de Cuba & Havana approached us about doing something wild, something different, something that would make people stop and say, “Wait, what? How is that a thing?!” Naturally, we strapped on our thinking caps and said,
“Hold my mojito!”
The Creative Challenge
The concept we came up with? Simple: deliver refreshing cocktails to people’s homes, gardens, parks – wherever they were soaking up the summer vibes. But make it EXTRA!
Cue the campaign, ‘Catch Cocktails, Not Feelings’. A drone-powered delivery service sending perfectly mixed drinks like Banana Hammock and Cuban Sangria straight from the bar to customers – because why not let your drink fly to you?
Execution and Solution
Executing this crazy idea wasn’t all smooth sailing. Coordinating drone flights, navigating tricky UK weather (classic!), and making sure the drinks landed without spilling – we had our work cut out.
But we live for this stuff!
We pulled off the UK’s first-ever drone cocktail delivery, sending tropical vibes (and drinks) flying across cities like Manchester and Leeds.
The drones swooped in, and the cocktails were delivered, all while we captured everything on camera.
The result? Some seriously slick UGC and social content that got people talking.
