Unleashing the ‘Dark Horse’ of SEO – Creative Social Advertising
“Yawn… B2B marketing, so predictable, right?” WRONG. In a world where 82% of marketing leaders find B2B marketing to be boring and repetitive, this campaign was an exercise in creative defiance. It’s also the perfect example to showcase how we’re rewriting the rules of B2B advertising.
The Challenge
Our mission, which we gleefully accepted, was to give the B2B world a much-needed jolt of adrenaline. Forget ‘playing it safe’ – we were here to set the marketing rulebook on fire (not literally, health and safety and all that). And the best part is, this campaign was developed for an organisation that is highly technical and is generally brushed over as type of marketing that isn’t too exciting. SEO.
The Creative Plan
We smashed the status-quo. A cowboy in B2B marketing? Why not! We threw in a horse, a leather-clad cowboy anti-hero, and some tech-savvy drone daredevils for good measure. “That’s not how it’s done,” they say. Well screw that. Our strategy for this advertisement relied on both spontaneity and planning the entire day within an inch of its life. From curated sunsets to an impromptu dog cameo on set – we sought to add a poetic touch to the narrative.
Execution and Solution
Altrincham, But Make It Wild West
Imagine this: the unsuspecting streets of Altrincham, busy with the diners and drinkers, transformed into a scene straight out of a Western flick. Here we are, merging professional acting chops with horse-riding prowess that would make John Wayne tip his hat.
Results
Our campaign didn’t just knock on the doors of conventional B2B marketing; it rode a horse right through them. This wasn’t designed to be your average, forgettable B2B ad. This was a story, a spectacle, a legend in the making.
And the talk of the town? That was just the start. The resonance went far beyond, as we watched our bold vision ignite conversations, spark excitement, and inspire awe. We proved, with undeniable flair, that B2B marketing can – and should – be thrilling.
Conclusion
In a world where B2B marketing is usually some suit and tie talking us into an early grave, we feel the story of a night-crawling enforcer was just what the doctor ordered. The secret ingredient to unforgettable marketing is nothing less than a pinch of creativity, a dash of daring, and a willingness to venture into the unknown.
And though this advert never graced the screens as intended, its spirit couldn’t be contained. It lives on, as one of the most exciting campaigns we’ve had the pleasure of pulling together. We hope it inspires your business to do the same and avoid the ‘tired and traditional’ path and opt for a more creative revolution.
