“Badvertising” With Fake Elton – The Primark Concept
Ever wondered what happens when Hussel Marketing gets an epiphany? Enter the Elton Concept Campaign, our brainchild that redefines advertising norms. It’s not just advertising; we call it “Badvertising” – and it’s as disruptive as it gets!
The Creative Spark
The question was simple: how do we showcase our creativity and disruption? The answer: create our own brand campaigns, the kind that turns heads, raises eyebrows, and gets people talking. And so, our Badvertising journey began.
The Execution
With a modest budget of just over £1k, we decided to shake things up in Liverpool with Primark and a faux Elton John (Elton Tom, to be precise). Think viral, think chaotic, and yes, we even had a Bentley in the mix (which, ahem, needed towing home).
The Apologies
A shoutout to Primark and the real Elton: no hard feelings, just flexing our creative muscles here at Hussel Marketing!
And to the lovely public who wanted selfies with our Elton Tom – sorry (not sorry) for the confusion!
The Impact
– Multiple national press features, because why not?
– A whopping 6 million organic views across TikTok including UGC.
– Another 250,000 views across our owned social channels.
– All this achieved with a “budget” slightly north of £1k (not even lying).
Conclusion
This Elton Concept Campaign is Hussel Marketing in a nutshell: unapologetically creative, slightly mad, and always effective.
